Located in Laval, our client, a large SME in the service sector, is looking for a Director of Finance to join its team.
It takes an expert to place one!
Main Responsibilities:
-Plans, organizes, directs and controls activities related to accounting, financial reporting and financial controls;
-Maximize cash profitability by making the necessary investments and participate in the foreign exchange strategy;
-Collaborates with the Chief Financial Officer and the heads of the various departments in the preparation of the annual budget and ensures its follow-up;
-Organizes and supervises the annual external audit;
-Present, analyze and communicate all financial analyses to various committees (Executive Committee, Management Committee, Audit Committee, etc.);
-Ensure constant communication between operations and finance in order to develop a participatory financial culture;
-Recruit, develop and supervise the employees of the department;
Job Requirements
-CPA
-7-15 years of experience
-Big 4 experience an asset
-Autonomous and able to set priorities and achieve goals
-Strong leadership and ability to take ownership of projects and accomplish them
-Results and deadline driven
-Bilingual: English and French
