Senior Fund Accountant
We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join a high-growth Finance organization. You will play a key role in scaling our global platform and delivering premium management services to our investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Ensure the accuracy of quarterly financial statements, NAV, and investor reporting for various entities (Credit funds, SPVs, Master-Feeders) under IFRS.
- Capital Management: Oversee capital calls, distributions, rebalancing, and the calculation of management fees and carried interest.
- Fund Operations: Manage journal entries, valuations, and reconciliations; support investment closings and KYC requirements.
- Audit & Tax Compliance: Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory compliance (FATCA/CRS, HST/GST, and international tax filings).
- Strategic Support: Partner with legal and business teams on new fund launches and lead initiatives for system automation and platform scaling.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3+ years in fund accounting/administration, ideally within private funds or asset management.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in audit, tax accounting, and Level 3 valuations.
- Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA with IFRS specialization is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, high accountability, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is an asset.
